lily baxter is a multidisciplinary artist based in los angeles.
at its core, her art investigates the human condition through a queer, feminine lense. she explores the convergence of memory and identity behind the veils and tensions of liquid modernity. her work is informed by her noncomformist approach to life and spirituality, and a first-hand fascination with global subcultures and underground communities.
lily is also a jewelery designer and metalsmith. outside of work, she can be found enjoying long walks on the beach, talking to her cats, and reading articles on wikipedia.
